Hydratis is higher and more varied in electrolytes with 5 mineral salts (sodium, potassium, magnesium, manganese, chloride, zinc) and lower in sugar (less than 1% for a glass of water). Standard energy drinks are usually high in sugars (6-8%) and contain little or no electrolytes.

The dose varies according to the intensity and duration of the sport or physical exercise. Maintaining proper hydration requires compensating for the loss of fluid and electrolytes and should match the amount lost.
